Durty Gurties at home
Historically, Durty Gurties Dining Room is an award-winning popup restaurant taking place in many interesting spots around Bristol. Though, like most small businesses that pesky COVID-19 has, of course, had an adverse effect on our usual catering business so we are adapting to the change.
We are excited to launch ‘Durty Gurties At Home’ to bring our infamous restaurant experience to your doorstep.Check out Durty Gurties at home
Last event: Pop-up cèilidh: Enchanted forest
This was a classic eat, drink & dance night. But with forest nymphs.
We went all out with cocktail bars, fine dining buffet, forest everywhere & dancing with live band & DJs into the small hours.
The buffet was a seasonal, local, modern British with vegans, vegetarians, coeliacs & meat-eaters all welcome & catered for.See event info
About Durty Gurties
Durty Gurties Dining Room is a family affair. Pudsey Catering, formerly of Pudsey’s restaurant, Clifton (where the Thali Cafe is now) are taking care of the kitchen while sons Dan & Jamie Pudsey are making sure it all looks great.
We want to feed & water the hungry, ethically minded & dietary challenged people of Bristol. Our menu is locally sourced, expect to taste the West country all over your palate with every mouthful. Until solar powered ferries are invented, we think it’s better to get your food on your doorstep rather than shipped across the ocean. The sea is exclusively for skinny dipping.
We’re also catering for a wide range of dietary requirements. From coeliacs to vegans – we want everyone to feel like they can come and eat without having to opt for the salad. Though, there will be salads. Delicious ones with seasonal produce and everything.Sample food menu

The Invisible Circus training warehouse
On 13 May 2017 we put on our own ‘enchanted forest’ themed pop-up céilidh with a live band, DJs, cocktail bar, secret bar & buffet. We turned the Invisible Circus’ training warehouse into an overgrown forest for the night with some truly rad fancy dress, straw bale seating & fairly lights aplenty.Read more
Kings Weston House
We started our journey with an ex-party bus complete with disco lights & sound system to take our patrons to a mystery location, on arrival they were greeted with prosecco cocktails, canapes & an aerialist performance on the weekend before stepping down the rabbit hole into an Alice in Wonderland themed dining experienceRead more
